What, you may well ask, is a Lazy Diamond?
Well, you won’t find it in any encyclopaedia yet, but if you did, the entry would probably look something like this:
Lazy Diamonds: four rather eccentric men, generally seen wearing black suits, bowler hats and sunglasses and wielding Gibson Flying V guitars (or in one case drumsticks). Their ages have never been exactly determined, but are likely to remain constant for at least the next 10 years. Tend to produce feelings of euphoria in audiences by writing and playing down-to-earth, blues-based songs with large amounts of enthusiasm.
Natural habitat: clubs and bars where rough-and-ready blues rock is still appreciated. Unfortunately this habitat is becoming increasingly rare, making real-life sightings all the more rewarding.
The blues has been coursing through their veins for decades - see it, hear it and feel it at a live concert soon. Blues-rock has never been more authentic or individual.
