Element 113 - NUFF TIME AGO

Ryan and Kevin out rage against the machine covers in like grade seven, then ryan was in french class with jarek in grade 9 , and maybe math music too, it was one of those math music split type of things that lasted the whole year and switched every second day, they spent a lot of it in the hall, and used to have this game called jewels which was kinda like dice but better that they would play in the hall. jarek mentioned he owned a guitar and played a mean smells like teen spirit... Bingo Bango. so they played two songs at music marathon, all origionals and made a 4 track recording, which we have reason to believe got lost in the mail on its way to the office of labels.then there was the battle of the bands, i think they were like 14 or 15 at this point (im totally typing this in third person what are you gona do about it) and what a battle it was, i think this was the one that someone aparently rigged the ballot box and it no one won or something we would have won though cus we were awesome and we did a cover of "do you think your better off alone" but instead said "do you think you really want a clone" like the lame computer comercials. Rene went to elementary school with jarek, they were locker partners actually, so after he saw our really want a clone cover he was pretty much sold and joined the band as a second guitar player, we all had really long hair at this point. Also to be noted is in grade 9 jarek told me walking to his house that he could grow a full goatie and had to shave but didnt want to grow one.... Jarek is now 21 years old, finished university, and still can not grow facial hair if his life literally depended on it.so anyways we played some battle of the bands, did a couple shows in ajax, pickering, toronto, and oshawa, --- recorded this demo--- and then broke up and formed THE JOHNSTONES in like grade 11.PEACE!!! -ryan
