About Me

Lily is an atmospheric and suspenseful tale of love, loss, and obsession. A successful young man, haunted by the death of someone close to him, is lured into a Faustian business arrangement with a mysterious stranger. Desperate for salvation, he must strictly adhere to a bizarre set of terms that will test the very fabric of reality, and may carry with them the ultimate price. At its core, this piece examines the sacrifice that all true desire carries with it, and how far people are sometimes willing to journey from themselves in order to find peace.

Starring Peter Facinelli (Can't Hardly Wait, The Big Kahuna, Riding in Cars With Boys) and Maggie McOmie (George Lucas' THX 1138), and paying homage to such classics as 2001 and The Shining, this movie employs powerfully heightened visuals and layered sound design to weave its haunting story. Witness the unique experience that Oliver Stone calls, "intriguing” and “strong in its symbolism”. “In a boldly surreal film, Daniel Boneville confidently directs the actors, the camera, and the story, while showing his potential as a fine, young director."

DIRECTOR BIO

Award-winning director Daniel Boneville is an exciting and intense young filmmaker that holds a BFA Degree in Film and Television from the legendary Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, graduating with the top of his class and completing all scholastic requirements a year early. Since then, he has immersed himself in strong learning environments - ones that have allowed expansion upon both his technical craft and industry knowledge.

As assistant to the NYU film industry liaison, Daniel had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the biggest names in the film industry. This job was balanced out with several production positions on features in the Tri-State Area. As a result of these employment experiences, Oliver Stone personally invited him to work at his company Ixtlan in Los Angeles.

Independently, Daniel has written, directed, photographed, and edited several films and documentaries; being an experienced piano player and student of music, he composed the scores for these projects as well. After Yearn was accepted into the New York Short Film Festival and well received on both coasts, he was able to mount Lily - his most ambitious movie yet.
