I made this myspace background at Easy people my name is Dean, im a chilled out laid back type of guy always up for a laugh with me pals, i take things day by day as you never do know whats round the corner, i love music drum&bass all the way, explains why im a part owner of Double.D promotions, along with my crew of trusty members we organise events book dj's mc's an were constantly striveing to improve what we do witch is a good thing in many ways, we have held many sucsessful events
that started off as smaller pub venues, as time has progressed so have we getting bigger venues to promote with bigger line ups, every event we have held under the name of Double.D Promotions has been live, all with good atmospheres, good crowds of people, an good line ups,That is why we are now working harder than ever to maintain this standard, i spose to be fare we get rewarded with what we put in.going back a few years the foundation of Double.D was laid an have now set it stone! down to the bare ammount of time an effort we have spent prepareing events talent/venue scouting, We have made it possible, our main focus right now is to branch out, an Exspantion is the key word. We have Headlined flyers with names like Kenny Ken, Crissy criss,Bass Line Smith,Bryan Gee,Skibadee, Garry K, Mc Presha, Mc Eksman,Young man Mc,Fatman D,Mc Juiceman, Generation Dub, Ellis dee,Brockie,Sparxx,to name a few.When people are leaveing our events satisfied with smiles on there faces its a buzz even just to over hear the peeps in me local towns talking of our events, thats when you realise all the hard promoting work we put in along with all the organiseing has well an truely payed off,Trust its not about the money we have lost thousands off pounds over the few years ,an thats the proof that we do it 4 the love,so to any one thinks we making big outa what we do wake up lyricle bitch slap, realitiy check 4 real, we pay are way through the seen an its as simple as that. I have listend to drum n bass over half my life, since i started high school in 92, old skool back then! i got my first set of decks aged 15, soundlabs belt drive had them 4 around a year & this was my first insite to mixing. Now sixteen my life took a turn 4 the worse one thing led to another drugs police cells ect ect,aged 17 i was homeless there for my life just got put on hold now it was all about survival,i got a flat at 18 & ive lived in it ever since spent a number of years in a vicous circle on the road to no were fast, any way life is not easy for most & maybe some are just lucky but its defanatly what you make it. im hounest & give any body the respect they show me.I have strong belifes & values an i never brake a morrel.
Trust me!!! .@ 21 i got another set of decks & i have had them ever since its all been practice since then, ive played out at a number of differant venues & always enjoy it! early 06 i started playing on Mystery Fm 87.5 droping some bangers with Dj Dan D an MC Cabzman i really enjoyed this time an i always play a set with a passion as i relate heavy dirty tracks with my life exsperiances. I also Chat on the mic wich i have done 4 many years,i also have appeard on a few guest shows on obsession fm with dj breeze,a few internet stations such www.ddradio.co.uk witch i run from my yard an is up an public now still under construction maximun props for cronic on the link.
my faviroute way to let off aggression & exspress myself is upon the mic...... i belive in myself there 4 nothing els matters, lifes to short to worry so just get on with it! we plan to finish this year in style an do as much as we possibly can between now an christmas, two thousand & nine is gunna be the biggest year yet for us at Double D we are all over it an every thing watch the space people, an as for next year 2010 ITS ALL BIG FOR US.. BIG BIG BIG things in the pipe line trust we have proved ourselfs to any doubters & now we are more determind than ever to break through an be reconised in the sceen that we have all followed for so many years................
