About Me

Hello all! Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet. I made this page to share some music that I have helped to create, and to share with you some of my influences and inspirations in life. I was given my first drum set (by my wonderful and noise-tolerant parents) when I was 8. For the first 2 or 3 years playing drums was noisy and for the most part unstructured. After getting clued in to the whole "groove" idea things went decidedly faster concerning my progress.
My serious study of the drum set and the musicians who have made IT what IT is, started at Appalachian State University in 2004. Since then I have had the honor of playing and studying with some great musicians in the Western North Carolina area. The groups that I perform with regularly include:
Uncle Mountain
The Jon Scales Fourchestra
Bafoodus
I recently moved to Asheville after graduating from ASU to pursue music full time. You can catch me playing with the above groups or with other local musicians around town regularly. I hope you enjoy your visit, and please come again!!
