After releasing his first record in the year 2000, Bert Kroes has been releasing records in different styles and worked with several artists which highlighted in remixing the famous classic track “trippin out†for dj Misjah on the X-trax label.
Bert’s long time musical friend Krijn van Heusden started his interest in electronic music in the beginning of the nineties. In 1993 he bought his first decks and was soon hooked on buying vinyl. After a break of a few years, he got back in 2003, spinning and producing various forms of techno music, ranging from minimal and techno to electro. Krijn is also one of the leading men behind the LiveSets.com community
In 2006, Bert en Krijn teamed up to explore their shared passion for techno house music under the name K-drive & Ginman. This resulted in a remix for the upcoming German dj/producer Daniel Mehlhart on the Manual Music imprint, which was playlisted by several dj’s including Richie Hawtin. Their musical style covers about the whole spectrum of techno music, ranging from pure techno to more minimal sounds and electro.
Currently two releases are out, one digital release on Manual Music and a vinyl release on the new Rotterdam-based label Wasted . In March 2008 two new tracks will appear on the 16th release of Manual Music, appropriately called "Sweet Sixteen", which will be a various artists EP.
