About Me

My name is Darrin Hutson. I am a writer who has been writing and sharing blogs exclusively on MySpace for over a year now. I have several thousand friends registered on my blog page but I would estimate that two hundred of those are consistent readers of my writings. I write about everything from religion to race to relationships. And I counsel those who seek my insight on issues they may be having. I have no formal education higher than a G.E.D. but the life I have lived along with much time to reflect and a mind to understand has made me an expert in many respects.
This page is dedicated to telling my personal story and the stories of my closest friends. Because my story is more about healing (myself and others) than it is about money, I do not worry about someone stealing or duplicating it. Although I am sure that my registration date on MySpace and dates of my blogs posted will mean something if I ever have to challenge anyone concerning this matter. Furthermore my book will be two parts - The first part details our lives from grade school, to hustling and ultimately to prison - a couple times - this will all be published right here on MySpace (unless I'm approached by a publisher). The second part will be a more introspective look at how all of this affected us, the world and where we all are now. This won't be able to be read until the book comes out. Pretty good huh?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I hope this page will assist others who desire to tell their story. I am not naive enough to think that my struggle is the only one that is note worthy. I represent millions of men, women and children in this world but especially in the inner cities of this country. Our lives should not be in vain - In every struggle is a lesson and how else will we share those lessons with others unless we document them. I encourage you to write - sing - do poetry - preach - teach - whatever you aspire to do. Your mark determines the conditions of the world your children inherit. Leave something those who look to your name can be proud of - a legacy. This does not require a spectacular act of heroism or achievement. All one has to do is document their life, perceptions and/or views and leave them somewhere others can view them in the future - even if it's in the lives of our children. No life is more significant than another - each person leaves a mark - document yours...... Darrin

The life I lived at home was a dark contrast from the image I portrayed at school. It was obvious that I was poor. I wore like two or three outfits to school over and over again. I still laugh ...

Deviant Behavior - Story of The Ninth Street Hood Boys (Part 1)

I was born in Flint MI on July 4, 1974. My mother says I was over 11 pounds but she was known to color a story up in a minute. To the best of my knowledge my dad was in my life until I was about three...
