.. Ernie's been a musician since the age of 15. He and his Band Destiny Were an original rock band But they also covered other rock bands in the 1980's. His first Band was Black Dragun that he and his cousin Rob Sandoval started But that Band just could't get off the ground or better yet get out of the garage, this was in Tucson Arizona 1979-1980, (but they would later join up with Joe Ward) He then moved to Sidney, still fine tuning his 6 string Axe. He then met some musicians in Sidney, alot more than he had met in Arizona. He then hooked up with Guitarist Chuck Jackson who was a member of the band Wizzard. They formed a New band Warrior inspired by the Band Black Foot. In Warrior he was Lead Guitarist. This band featured Guitarist Chuck Jackson & Drummer Chuck Davis, Ernie Replaced Guitarist and Vocalist Bob Ogle, who was lead Guitarist and Vocals for Wizzard. After the break up of Warrior,Chuck Jackson Joined Blue Earth along with Drummer and Vocalist Matt Lukesh, Guitarist Jeff Lukesh and Bassist Tom Mazel. Ernie joined a more popular area rock band Shadow Fact, which Featured Keyboardist & vocalist Dan Cabela, Drummer Todd Webber and Bassist Trevor Frehrics. In 1983 after the break up of both Bands Shadow Fact and Blue Earth 2 new bands emerged. Dan Cabela And Todd Webber joined Matt Lukesh,Jeff Lukesh and Tom Mazel and Formed the Band Inasense. Ernie and his Brother Joe Ward started a new Band called Rizzen, which Ernie brought on Former Warrior Drummer Chuck Davis and Former Black Dragun member Rob Sandoval as Keyboardist. And then after a few line up changes The Band changed their name to Destiny (1984)......In Destiny, Ernie was Lead Vocals and Lead Guitarist.. Ernie and his band Destiny's first single aired on KSID AM first before getting air play on area Radio stations. The song was "It's Over Now" that he and his band Destiny recorded at Elements of Sound Studio, Owned and ran by Rich Cabela and Wayne Schmidt. The next Record was was entitled "Destiny" in 1986. The follow up record was "Dana" which was his Ten year old sister Dana's Debut Record which also had alot of local air play in 1987 . Next came "Destiny '89", followed by "Ernie Ward Demo" in 1992 and then "Ernie Ward Burning Heart" in 1997 in which Ernie Performed all the instruments and Vocals on this album, via Multi tracking and Overdubbing. Although It was Released on compact disc, it was all recorded on anolog tapes. Ernie was not only an upcoming musician in the 1980's, He also Began a Culinary career, after becoming Head Chef at the Sidney Country Club and Was Executive Chef at The Fort Sidney Hotel Restaurant He moved on and opened his own restaurant along with his Mother Delores Ward, Called "Ernie's ", Later he became Known as the "Rock N Roll Chef". To date Ernie has written and recrded 72 songs and appeared in 9 music videos. Ernie's former wife but good friend Pam Ward appeared in three of his music videos. Ernie Ward's Influences from early on were, Aldo Nova, Scorpions, Dokken and Led Zepplin. His Style is similar to Aldo Nova and the Scorps sound. Although his music is primarily Rock, he had written and recorded some R&B
