My Interests

I like voting. Listening to music and wishing that I knew how to play guitar. Pretending I understand French. Using a language barrier to do things I normally wouldn't do. The scent of gardenias. Jumping in puddles in my galoshes, especially when I'm with people who are sans galoshes. Being happy. Making other people happy. Learning about things that I could easily avoid learning by watching shows like Entertainment Tonight. I like seeing things. I like living. It is pretty spectacular.

I'd like to meet:

I used to have a really retarded list written here. I'm a little ashamed. So, as of now, there is a moratorium on people I'd like to meet.

Music:

top five: this is hard. dave barnes. matt wertz. sam phillips. snow patrol. george straight. random. but that is pretty much how i roll.

Movies:

home alone. the constant gardener. amelie. view from the top. ferris bueller's day off. lots of freaking good movies.

Television:

Seinfeld, That 70's Show (the re-runs...not new ones), Gilmore Girls, Reno 911, and Grey's Anatomy. Veronica Mars. The news. I'm pretty much addicted. It is very, very sad.

Books:

Eeek! So many books, such a small space. My all time faves are....Franny and Zooey, Pride and Prejudice, Chienne de Gueere, The Politics of War, Everything Is Illuminated, and The Man Who Tried to Save the World.

Heroes:

Fern Holland. Fred Cuny. Marla Ruzicka. Joe Wilson (not because of his drama, but because he was ambassador to Iraq during the first Gulf War). Dorothy Parker. My dad. My grandpa. Especially my grandpa.
