I really have no idea where to begin. One day after making mistake after mistake I decided I just wanted to play music for the sake of music. Play it for the enjoyment of myself and others. That's really what it should be about. Not about image, and the politics of music. All that really goes out the door when you play that first note from the inside of your heart to the outside world to be heard.
I've alienated myself from my previous image through many different methods. I'm glad because I found out who my true friends were. Now today I look back on what I've done so far, and it just isn't enough, it never will be, so I will continue writing music in any and every form I can think how to document my life, to convey my feelings, to enclose the current political situation in historical documents.
The day of point and click is here and you can download albums before they even come out. Album artwork, cd booklets, all that is forgotten. Now people are realizing what music is about.
When I picked up the acoustic guitar I realized this is where its at for me, I can use it as an extension of my body to paint a picture in the air. And furthermore there's no need to water down everything with effects and compression just to get the loudest cd on the market. Its all about the music for me and I mean it when I say it.
As for history of where I came from and where I'm going. Lets put it into a nutshell to conserve space and time. I was born 21 years ago in a place called Havre, Montana in the winter month of february. I moved to Casper, Wyoming for my dad's school and job. And went back to Havre, Montana as I got older I picked up the guitar, one day I was asked to play bass in a school talent show, and thats where it began for me. Since then I've been producing music from electronic (the malicious, incheon lazerhead) to rock (threadbare trigneta, diego's revenge, picture bleeds paint). By far rock was the most fun, but possibly the least rewarding as far as the enjoyment you get out of the music, playing the shows ect.
Since the days of Threadbare, The Malicious, Brooklyn to Brazil and Picture Bleeds Paint I have been in Germany for a while and now I'm living in South Korea. I enjoy this environment because I feel absolutely no pressure on how fast I have to write the music, when the next show is, none of that, I just take a deep breath, and start writing.
Well I do hope you enjoy the music. It is my raw, underproduced, true to life musical painting for you and me.
