COVER SHOT OF THE MONTH

COVER SHOT IMAGES: AT WORK
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
DISCLAIMER and people I don't shoot:
**MODELS PLEASE READ**
UPDATE: TFP/TFCD are no longer being accepted unless I specifically ask for you. Please ask for my rate.
I don't shoot so called models that state anything with the word(s)PAID WORK ONLY on their profiles or who have rates listed. In short, REAL models that are worth the money aren't wasting their time asking for a shoot and get paid by their agency.
I don't shoot models that feel they need to bring an escort or body gaurd. Here's a question for ya, "Do you bring your parents to work with you??" <--Its a rhetorical question. If you answered "yes" to this question then you're too young to shoot with me. TIP: Do your homework and research the photographer you're shooting with if you're worried about your safety.
I don't shoot models that I've emailed and don't send me a response back. Its just courteous to respond if I took the time to write you something.
I don't shoot models on the fly. I'd like to make acquaintances with the models I shoot so I know we can get along for 2 hours or more. In person meetings are required.
I don't shoot models with Prima Donna attitudes. . If you flip me sh*t, I'll send you packing.
I don't shoot models who want to do these types of shoots: Angel wings on their backs, BIG lollipops covering their private parts, models in a bubble bath / milk bath, girls naked pouring honey, chocolate or anything liquid on their bodies, models with make up that look like they've got a Zorro bandana around their eyes or any of that extreme makeup, women in lingerie posing in their kitchen (are there women really walking around in their kitchens like that???)...let's think of something REALLY cool! Unless you're paying me to do this for you - then its a whole different story.
I don't shoot models TFCD more than once. The old saying "Everyone deserves a second chance" doesn't apply to me.
Models are required to divulge information of whether they're a beginner or have some experience. I can't stand models who put on their profile "EXPERIENCED" and show up to the shoot not knowing what to do. I don't mind shooting newbies, just let me know upfront so I can plan for the hours we'll be together.
Models are required to commit to the time they slot with me or at least give me 48 hours notice. If you decide to cancel the day of the shoot you will be blacklisted and famous for being unreliable, unprofessional and un-timely. Dedicated photographers spend weeks trying to concept a shoot, buy thousands of dollars worth of equipment (because we obviously aren't using point and shoot or disposable cameras) and we spend uncountable hours trying to retouch your image. We're not asking for a lot but us photographers do a lot more than snap shots and send you over images (although I wish it were that easy).
Models are required to bring their confidence and they're best game. Let's face it, nobody wants their time wasted and if you're feeling uncomfortable with your body and don't feel like you can do certain pose because you're embarrassed or your boyfriend won't like it, then maybe you should reconsider the whole modeling scene. Models should feel comfortable with their body and self. I personally, don't like my time wasted.
Models are required to sign a release after the shoot. Failure to sign this means no images for you. The release does not mean you are granted any type of ownership of the images other than you can use them for your self promotion. US Photography laws states that the photographer is the sole owner of the images the minute they are taken unless there is a pre-agreed upon joint ownership contract between the photographer and the model. I know most models don't like the way that sounds but don't get mad at me, I didn't make the laws! If you don't like the regulations the law has set forth, please write your local congressman.
REASONS WHY YOU WOULD GET BLACKLISTED 1.) You owe ME money!
2.) You pulled a no show, you are extremely tardy, or you didn't give enough notice that you were canceling.
3.) You violated one of the reasons as said in my DISCLAIMER
4.) You came to the shoot hungover from the night before
5.) You and I have exchanged emails regarding a photoshoot but you failed to tell me that you are all of a sudden on a modeling hiatus
6.) You act like a Diva and we need to give you everything for free (free shoots, free retouched images, free drinks during the shoot, free clothing,...etc).
I can understand that some of you are doing this for a hobby or part time because of school, if you are, please state so and don't act like you're some big shot and do this on a full time basis. Some of us do this for a living and depend on reliable models to make it to a shoot. "Go Big or Go Home". If you can't follow this, then just go home.

TFP/TFCD shoots are EXTREMELY on a case by case basis. I'll contact you if I need you. Contact me for rates if you want to shoot with me. As the infamous "Shamayim" puts it...
"What has worth is worth paying for..."
Not much to say other than I love photography! For my personal life, check out my other profile "Julian aka Cover Shot Images". You should be able to get the scoop about me there.
