A drummer, with over 25 years experience, Reese has had the good fortune to play some of the finest venues in the world, such as Lincoln Center, and The Apollo Theater, performing in front of names as big as Roberta Flack and Bill and Hillary Clinton. He’s also recorded and toured through out Italy with Jazz singer Amalia Gre’, for EMI records. He’s currently drumming for the rock band, “Pagodaâ€, signed to "ESTATIC PEACE RECORDS", formed by THURSTON MOORE, of the legendary alt rock group, "SONIC YOUTH". Reese works with a unique, diverse, international network of talented artists of all kinds, from musicians, to filmmakers to painters to poets to actors to dancers, etc., which he has organized into an arts activism alliance called REDD RUNNINGS. Many of these artists, or "Redd Runners" as they refer to themselves, are multi-talented renaissance people, with more than one talent, such as painters who are also musicians, or dancers who also actors, etc. You can see the diverse body of work displayed by some of these artists in Reese's "FRIENDS SPACE", such as the work of WILLHAM PAREDES, an artist, painter and tattoo artist, with his own shop in Brooklyn called, "BROOKLYN TATTOO, who's also the bassist for the rock band, "PAGODA" (click pages labeled "BROOKLYN TATTOO", "WILLY" and "PAGODA"), and "SPEX BOOGIE" (click page labeled "SPEX BOOGIE"), an artist as well as a legendary hip-hop dancer/instructor.
