December 10th Cindy Thorrington Haggarety of Peaceful Art Jewelry/Design LLC becomes the South Bend Indiana Notre Dame Area SCORE Business Woman of the Year.
She is being honored for her achievements as a Disabled Person that has succeeded in Business Accomplishments through SCORE and Vocational Rehabilitation since graduating, (Voc Rehab paid for her to attend college till graduation in Dec.2002.) She will travel 70 miles away from her home city where she will be recognized in front of some of Notre Dame, SCORE and Vocational Rehabilitation executives and guests.
Of course there will be publicity after the fact and I will keep you informed of Cindy's big day. This year has been a bitter sweet year for PAJD, like everyone else the economy has hit our company hard. But it is such a pleasure to end 2008 with such a prestigious recognition.
All of us at Peaceful Art Jewelry/Design LLC want to thank all of you for the wonderful support you have shown our company but most of all Cindy wants you to know those of you who have contributed to making us a success this year, she wishes you the very best in 2009.
