About Me

I'm an award winning author of western romance novels. I won the prestigious 2003 National Readers' Choice Award for my second book called "The Cowboy Who Came Calling." And I was fortunate enough to capture the Texas Gold Award for all three of my single titles.
I love writing about cowboys, their ladies, and the early days of Texas. Our state has such a great and storied history about the brave people who settled this wild land. It was a time when a man's word was his bond, when people respected each other and the law, and when the value of a hard-earned dollar meant something.
NEW RELEASE!
Rugged and ready and aimin' to please...GIVE ME A COWBOY!
My novella is "Texas Tempest." It's part of this anthology of western romance stories written by four Texas Panhandle authors, Jodi Thomas, Phyliss Miranda, DeWanna Pace and myself titled "GIVE ME A COWBOY". This is the second anthology acquired by Kensington Publishing and releases February 2009.
Romantic Times gives it a 4 Star Review. They say this: "Four ladies who know what it means to be a Texan create a quartet of memorable novellas that bring the great state straight into your heart. The three-dimensional characters and unforgettable heroes, combined with splendid stories, are unmatched for fans of the Old West."
