Hey there

About Me

Well, my name is Shaun, Born in the 70's (yes, I'm getting old lol), into loads of different stuff, rock, sci-fi, gothic stuff, films and music etc. I live in Newcastle under Lyme, and I work full time as a Business Analyst, apparently I'm honest, funny, truthful kinda guy, i love animals and kid. I'm here looking for friends to socialize withMy ideal woman, would be: funny, intelligent, loyal, know who she is, know what she wants from life, wants someone to share life with, not try and change her.In short........ Sarah

My Interests

Role Playing (no....... the "Dungeons and Dragons" type..... any other type is stictly for that "special someone" to find out about). Rock Music (mainly cheezy 80's though some decent stuff is out there now), Sci Fi and Horror movies and books........ infact, I'm what the Americans would class as a nerd, if I wore glasses............... or is that just a geek (never was too good this the language of those "Bloody Colonials")*** please note, no offence was ment by the "Bloody Colonials" statement, which was meant to indicate a stalwartly "Giles from Buffy" like Englishness***

I'd like to meet:

Most of the people I'd like to meet aren't real (The Doctor, James Bond, Gandalf, Tony Blair), or long dead (Newton, Einstein, Keith Richards), so I'm not sure thats really a helpful answer.

Movies:

If it's Sci Fi, Sword and Sorcery or general mayhem, I'm there (Highlander and Excalibur being my top two), though even I've been persuaded to view the odd "chick flick" (though you'll never hear me admit to liking them, at least not in public)

Television:

Again, mostly Sci Fi and action (NEW DR WHO RULES - Sorry, I don't know what came over me)....... but following the whole geek thing, I am a huge history channel supporter

Books:

Not a huge reader, but love Interview with the Vampire. I also love Scott Adam's Dilbert (lets just say I work in an office, and you wouldn't believe how accurate that stuff is)

Heroes:

Again, mainly characters of fiction. On a personal level, guess my Grandfather has always been a bit of a hero...... he looked after my Gran, who had an "accident" on the operating table before I was born which left her with the equivilant of Alzhiemers............. and he gave up his life to take care of her......... I only hope I have that strength should I need it
