I am a firecracker exploding into a million varied colors, glowing beautifully against the backdrop of a blackened night.
I refuse to let myself be ordinary nor a superficial version of society. I will surprise you. I won't lie; I can be cocky at times because I relish in being viewed as a strong person, not easily broken. But I do have scars, I do cry. I have panic/anxiety disorder but I'm definitely overcoming it. I've grown so much and I love the person I am now. I love Jesus, but the next thing you'll hear is me drop a line of obscenities. A bad habit from sixth grade, I suppose. I won't change myself to accomidate you. In school I don't mind remaining unnoticed because I don't wish to blend myself within the realm that every other teenager resides. I like to surprise people. I hope I have that same effect on you.
What you say or do won't make me or break me unless I want it to. I am who I am.

Shelby is without a doubt the best man I know. He is my protector and my future husband. We pray for each other every second and want God to be the center of our relationship. We don't thrive on sex and drama, because we just have fun being real with each other. Everyday I wake up I still can't believe that along the broken road God was molding us into who we are today so we could be ready for one another. Shelby is the love of my life and the one true person who knows me. And that will never change. 6.28.09
