I've been making records since I was a little girl. Writing music, playing piano and singing along with acting are my passions. I made my first record with Merv Griffin when I was 6 and was a member of the San Francisco Children's Opera Theatre til I was 12. I wrote the Official Cable Car Song of San Francisco which was endorsed by Mayor Dianne Feinstein at that time. The proceeds of the song went to save the cable cars. I joined the American Conservatory Theatre in my teens and have released records worldwide. Some are still available online. One of my singles, "Come On" made the top 10 in Hitmakers Magazine and "So In Love" on Warlord Records was a fun one to record as it had a disco sound to it. The album on this page is my 7th one. Before recording it, I had lived in Europe and Asia for a couple years co-starring in action films. That was alot of fun. But I missed Cali so I came back. I majored in theatre and music at the School of the Arts and moved to LA when I was 16 to join the Young Americans song and dance troupe in Anaheim. My mom Shirley and dad Tom got me into showbiz and I recently lost my dad which is a great loss to me. He taught me to play the piano and write music and he taught me the ropes of the biz. He owned Cavalier Records which had alot of name artists such as Harry Belafonte and Bob Ingram, etc. He was also heavily involved in politics, and was the congressional nominee for Congress and ran for Mayor of San Francisco. Most of my performances growing up were for politicians such as President Reagan, Senator Milton Marks, Governor George Deukmejian, Mayor Moscone, and many more. He will be missed.
My favorite artists are Mariah Carey, Lenny Kravitz, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Evanesence, George Michael, Maroon 5, Joseph Arthur, Daniel Bedingfield and the list goes on but I am a soundtrack hound. Love soundtracks, have a collection of them. I have a 65 classic olds cutlass convertible and I love to put the top down and blast my music.
I am a big film buff and some of my faves are, Moulin Rouge, New York New York, Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Carlito's Way, Scarface, Serendipity, Lord of the Rings, Hidalgo, Sweet November, The Last Don, Step Up, Revenge, Constantine, Vanilla Sky, King Arthur, Kingdom of Heaven and most of the 007's and that list can go on forever, but how can I not mention the movie Grease? My dad took my mom and I to see it when I was a little girl and made us leave halfway through because he thought it was to "risque". Then a few years later he's helping me pick out red fishnets and garter belts for my record cover when I was 16. Go figure. He produced me on a record called Red Hot Riding Hood. That one is not available online. I have that hidden in boxes in my garage. lol But Grease was when I first laid eyes on Kenickie and I guess you could say I got to eventually see the end and get the guy. The matinee' idol I still think is the most beautiful thing.
I love the beach, love producing vocals in the studio, writing screenplays, I have one based on a true story involving the mafia and my family and am working on a comedy now called Fast Eddie.
I recently found out that ABC news voted me 2 in the top 15 meanest reality tv villains of all time. I find that truly hilarious. As actors we make choices but I don't think I went on Celebrity Rehab with the intention of being a villain and I certainly am the least meanest person I know but I don't get intimidated by people and I speak my mind so maybe that's what gets me in trouble...lol. I must thank my brother Jay, owner of Stardust Comics for desiging my album cover. He is the best and most talented artist of this time and era.
