About Me

"The horn sings, the beatbox dazes, the voice leaves you on your knees hoping for, believing in salvation . . . " - Ryan Graves, Toronto Performance Week
A combination of trumpet, beat box and word, since coming together in April the cs field has performed all over North America and Europe at festivals, art galleries, spoken word, jazz and other events. Their demo was released in September 2007 and they are currently working on their first album.
Mike Field has been playing jazz trumpet in the streets and bars of Canada, America and Europe since 2002. Stella Jean’s most recent projects include a music ensemble in Chengdu, China and a one-woman puppet show. Born aboard the Queen Mary I, Chris Michalski is a writer and freak.
