About Me
Scott has been a professional performer for almost three decades evolving through the world of Musical Theatre, TV and Vocal Cabaret.
Scott would always say that he developed his love of performance from his parents, one a professional singer, the other a guitarist. Lynne, his mother was also and award winning vocalist who worked the clubs of Yorkshire and fronted the highly acclaimed live bands Nevada and Bitter Suite. As a child he could often be found sitting in the corner with his coke and crisps watching her.Scott was born and raised in Sheffield. At school he developed a love of the dramatic arts. He was a member of the Sheffield Youth Theatre and performed in many of their productions.
When the time came to leave mainstream education and pursue a career he'd already decided to head to London to train as an actor.
He won a scholarship at the much respected and renowned drama school 'Italia Conti'. He enrolled on the actors course, graduating a few years after.
It was during this time that he was cast in his first TV and theatre roles for shows like The Bill, The Manageress. Blood Wedding and God's Drumming
His vocal talents and ability developed tremendously during his time at drama school and he soon found himself in the world of Musical Theatre.
It was whilst he was performing in the musical adaptation of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales at the Arts Theatre in London's West End, that he was approached by the then musical director of Miss Saigon, which was performing at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Scott was asked to audition for the lead role of the American G.I, Chris (a part which Scott always believed he would play). After auditioning for the producers, directors and Cameron Mackintosh himself, Scott was offered the role.

His next role in Musical Theatre was as 'The Narrator' in Willy Russell's, Blood Brothers. He toured the UK with Bill Kenwright's production and worked alongside the fantastic Bernie Nolan who played the role of Mrs Johnstone. perform. Scott has been very priviledged to have visited some of the most amazing countries in the world whilst performing with Miss Saigon.Scott has also produced and directed his own musical ventures, including a four piece vocal harmony showband, MATINEE and Can U Feel It, a popular duo.
He also filmed the pilot of a new TV sitcom, starring alongside Lucy Davis, (Dawn from The Office) and he also had a role in the TV adaptation of Keen Eddie, shown on Sky One.
