Rez Rocket Racing is a Native American Indian Sport Compact Drag Racing Team from the Navajo Indian Reservation in the town of Shiprock, located in Northwestern New Mexico. Over six years involved in sanctioned automotive racing events, including participation, design and development, maintenance, tuning, and management.The car and the team were initially developed out of an interest for motorsports, and to compete in the Sport Compact Racing Series.This year(2008) has been a "rebuilding" year, as the team is strengthening the talons' drivetrain components. It is the teams' hope to have the car rolling in early fall to catch the latter part of the remaining season.
