The soulful R&B singer/songwriter, Jasmine Bianca Turner, aka Miss Jazzy, blessed the world with her birth on November 17, 1989. She was born in Orlando, Fl to the proud parents James and Linda Turner. She is the youngest of five children including Xavier, ShaMorris, Lindetta and Malisha. She and her family relocated to Stone Mountain, Ga. in 1997.
Miss Jazzy developed an interest in music at an early age. She was surrounded by musical influences from within the entertainment industry since the age of nine. This helped her nurture her extraordinary gift of singing and songwriting. She recorded her first song “My First Kiss†at the tender age of 10 with the help and development of Devine Evans (producer, songwriter and engineer now working with R&B artist Mary J. Blige).
Her latest body of work “If I Come Over†was with Dice Gamble (rapper, songwriter, engineer and producer) “The 1st Lady of Holy Hip Hop†in which she co-wrote. She is currently touring with other nationally-known acts for A E Music Group for the Stop The Violence campaign. Miss Jazzy performed and model for Elasta QP at the Bronner Brothers 2006 & 2007 Hair Show in Atlanta, GA.
Throughout her musical career, Miss Jazzy has worked with artists Chip Days, Mizchief, Carmen Liana, Kena Sage, Kahnma, Pillow, Neo and Lloyd among others. She eagerly looks forward to meeting and working with other artists and recording her music.
Miss Jazzy continued to grow musically and to cultivate her remarkable talents. She’s not only an excellent vocalist with great range and a unique sound, but is also a skilled dancer and choreographer. She has consistently demonstrated her wide array of talent and versatility as a poet and model in addition to her musical endeavors.
She began to showcase her gifts by participating in the Ckids International Inc. (formerly Canaan Kids), while attending elementary school. During that period she traveled extensively with Ckids, performing in venues throughout the city, meeting local, national and international talent. She recorded “What About Us†in 2004 at the Ckids camp.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Miss Jazzy kept active by attending the DeKalb School of the Arts and Stone Mountain High School, becoming active in sports (basketball, volleyball and cheerleading), participating in dance groups in her high school and studying cosmetology.
Miss Jazzy is enrolled at Georgia Perimeter College, majoring in Music and eagerly sings and dances at the many events she is invited to. She is a proud young woman embodying integrity, morality and strong personal convictions while reaching out to the masses through her God-given talents.
Catch hold of this rising and shining star who has become a true entertainer, eager and ready to make her mark in the entertainment industry.
