bio1:
i picked up a guild guitar last summer ('06), wrote a bunch of songs during my junior year in college as i was seriously procrastinating work, had a revelation that the soviets stained the US capitalist society with performance enhancing drugs, quitting them but especially smoking finally enabled me to put some organized thoughts on paper, then i bought an mbox2 mini a few days ago, and hopefully dtth is about 1 or 2 weeks away from a myspace profile mp3 upload debut! fun fun fun
bio2:
still love my guild. at college senior year i started doing some open mics here and there. consequently, my confidence level increased. but when, i tried to book a show with at a local cafe in durham and this is the response i got. i'm in the market for a voice instructor.
"I've been doing vocals for a long time and have listened to about
200 bands play here in the last 10 months; I think you need to take voice
lessons and work on pitch. I think the overall tenor of your voice is good
(not throaty or harsh), but your ability to hit pitches accurately would be
served before you play publicly."
anyways, dtth had a brief stint as 'booking the dillo' which featured a bass and battery. now at school, dtth performs as the acoustic with a drum set. the beat feels good, ha. over thanksgiving i combined with steve korfiatis for a show in nyc and the sound was complemented like woah, so hopefully we're gonna go with two acoustics from now on out.
these mp3s still suck, but trust me when i say that it's getting better. come out to nyc for the show on dec 28th. korf and i will be hard at work. maybe if we're really motivated we'll record 2-3 new tracks. finally check out his garageband recordings at www.myspace.com/bazarof.
