[Eben Arias]

English - Eben Arias is a young musician currently residing in Edmonds, Washington. He is a native of San Diego, California. Started at a young age with the interests in drums but studied piano for a brief time with his father, brother, and a private teacher. As a child he was always involved in music in church or any other related activities with the influence of his father but later took his interest off from music.Years later he took interest in music again and picked up the clarinet late in Middle School trying to reach the concert band. With the help and influence of his director Bob Bradley he picked up the saxophone and made the top jazz ensemble playing Baritone Saxophone the same week he started playing the saxophone. After playing in the award winning College Place Middle school he fell in love with jazz and went on to high school to continue his passion for music and jazz.To further his studies he went on to study under jazz tenor saxophonist Alexey Nikolaev in Seattle and others such as Steve Treseler. He started his jazz studies in Seattle, Washington in Edmonds-Woodway High school where he was a part of the great jazz program there directed by Jake Bergevin and will finish studying at Edmonds-Woodway High School the year 2008. In the summer of 2007 he moved to Mexico where he lived at a variety of places in Puebla and Atlixco, often taking many trips to Xalapa, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City performing with some of the best musicians from all around the country.Eben is also planning a summer tour for 2008...with many great young musicians from the United States... Eben plans to attend to study music at the next level where he is currently checking out where to go...Spanish- Eben Arias es un joven musico que reside en Edmonds, Washington. Es nacido en San Diego, California. Comenzo sus aventuras musicales a temprana edad con interes en la bateria pero estudio Piano con su padre, hermano, y maestro particular. Como nino siempre estuvo involucrado en la musica en diferentes actividades con la influencia de su padre pero despues perdio el interes en la musica.Anos despues tomo el interes de la musica despues donde tomo el Clarinete en su ultimo ano de secundaria para llegar a la banda sinfonica de su escuela. Con la ayuda de su instructor musical Bob Bradley tomo el saxofon y en la misma semana que comenzo a tocar hizo la reconozida banda de jazz de College Place Middle school tocando saxofon Baritono. Despues de tocar poco tiempo con la banda decidio seguir tomando musica al nivel de preparatoria por su amor hacia la musica y el Jazz.Para avanzar sus estudios, estudio bajo el reconocido Saxofonista tenor Alexey Nikolaev de Seattle, Washington y otros como Steve Treseler. Comenzo sus estudios formales en Edmonds-Woodway High school en Edmonds, Washington donde tiene la oportunidad de estar en unas de los mejores escuelas para estudiar Jazz dirigida por el reconocido trompetista/vocalista Jake Bergevin. Eben terminara a temprana edad sus estudios en Edmonds-Woodway en el 2008.En la primavera del 2007 tuvo la oportunidad de participar en el prestigioso "Essentially Ellington" Jazz Festival en Nueva York donde su grupo fue finalista entre los 15 mejores ensambles de Jazz de Norte America (Estados Unidos, Canada, Puerto Rico, escuelas internacionales) fueron seleccionadas por varios de los mejores educares y musicos de Jazz en el mundo (Wynton Marsalis, David Baker, Gunther Schuller).En el verano del 2007 fue a vivir a Mexico donde vivio en diferentes lugares tal como Puebla y Atlixco tomando viajes seguidos a Monterrey, Guadalajara, Distrito Federal y Xalapa tocando con muchos de los mejores musicos de Mexico.Eben Arias desea avanzar sus estudios al siguiente nivel donde ahorita esta buscando una universidad donde ir...Eben Arias esta planeando una gira de toda la Republica Mexicana en Agosto 2008 con varios musicos jovenes de Estados Unidos...
