I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I just finished the Bachelor's Program of Film at Full Sail in June, and am currently back in my hometown trying to get on my feet before heading out to California. While I am here I am collaborating with friends on short movie projects as well as assembling some of my own. Movies have been a passion of mine for a long time now, and one day I hope to direct a handful of movies everyone will enjoy. Watch some of what I have worked on below and leave a comment telling me what you think, especially "Foresight is 20/20" and "Discology" where I directed. At the moment my day job is a server at Golden Corral (everyone's dream job, I know), and by night I am writing screenplays with my friend and co-writer, and I am also an editor for my other friend's wedding video company, Weddeo . I also sell Goji Juice for Freelife International, and you can check it out here .
I have been back together with my girlfriend for about 7 months now and it has been absolutely wonderful! She makes me the happiest guy in the world. We have been everywhere this summer so far it seems like, including seven theme parks in Florida alone, and everyone's favorite vacation, Hawai'i!! Currently she is in Australia until November 24th, and I can't wait until she comes home. I hope to marry that girl someday!
Below are the projects that I have worked on in chronological order with the newest being at the bottom. Leave any comments telling me what you think and keep checking back regularly for new projects!

Check out my friend Erik Scott Smith. You may have seen him in films such as A Walk to Remember, Cold Mountain or Home at the End of the World. He is an up-and-coming actor/musician in L.A. right now and could always use your support! View his Myspace page here: Erik Scott Smith

My Interests

Hanging out with friends, watching movies, playing video games, listening to music and writing stories and scripts.

I'd like to meet:

On top of the pictures with famous people I have met over the past few years, I have also met Michael Winslow on a commercial shoot at Full Sail, and had the pleasure of attending Q&A sessions for director John Waters and actor/director Chazz Palminteri.

I've already met the girl of my dreams, so now I'm just looking for oppurtunities to network and get to know other people who want to make films or have something to do with the filmmaking process.

Music:

I love listening to originally composed movie soundtracks. Other than that I really enjoy rap, alternative rock, heavy metal, acoustic songs all the way to punk and pop. Just about anything. I also love the organ.

Movies:

I LOVE the Star Wars Saga and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but here is a list of how diverse the rest of my taste is: Aliens, Austin Powers Collection, Basic, Batman Begins, Big Fish, Big Trouble in Little China, Black Hawk Down, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Chronicles of Narnia, Collateral, Dodgeball, Edward Scissorhands, Enemy of the State, Gladiator, Harry Potter Films, Identity, Jurassic Park, The Last Samurai, Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events, Memento, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Mummy, The Negotiator, Payback, Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2, Predator 1 and 2, The Ring, The Royal Tenenbaums, Se7en, Silent Hill, Spaceballs, Spider-Man 1 and 2, Troy, Waiting, Wedding Crashers, We Were Soldiers, and that isn't nearly all....

Television:

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is probably the best television show ever made, and I also watch NASCAR every weekend. Does that make me a redneck? You decide. I really like Nip/Tuck, CSI, and House as well.

Books:

Star Wars novels, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Congo, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Selling Your Screenplay in 60 Seconds, Things They Don't Teach You in Film School, The Hollywood rules, Directing Actors, and Writing Screenplays That Sell.

Heroes:

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself, All of my friends, Every person on a film set who helps get the job done, George Lucas, Steven Spielburg, Peter Jackson, Tim Burton, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Howard Shore, Nobuo Uematsu, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rowling, Lee Shapiro, Mikey Jones, Chuck Norris, Pirates and Ninjas.
