Hi! My name is Juan Manuel; I was born in Barcelona (Spain). At the age of 16 I started DJing EBM, influenced by my elder brother, old records I had at home like Front 242, Nizzer Ebb, Split Second, Bigod 20, The KLF and styles like England and Belgium “new beat†and Acid House.Soon, I got in touch with Dj's in parties where underground electronic music was played. I was fascinated for these music styles, and it was in 2001 when I started to mix Techno.My debut as a DJ was in the club "Canela Nature" (Cánovas, BCN) sharing the decks with DJ’s from the underground Techno and Trance scene (Tekla, Judge Fredd & Ray-mon, Insomnis, Asaltacabinas...) After one year as a resident DJ, I began to produce electronic music being attracted by progressive and acid sequences, also developing my DJ set into more progressive & atmospheric tech-trance playing artists like Der Dritte Raum, Jupiter 8000, Humate, Oliver Lieb, J. Rob...During the period 2004-2005 I took the Audio Engineering Program at SAE Barcelona; after I got the diploma I took the second year of audio 2006-2007, Bachelor Degree in Recording Arts at SAE Byron Bay, Australia. During both years I've been getting into sound and audio recording, postproduction, mixing, editing, etc. and I've also been working as a sound engineer doing live gigs around Byron Bay.The music I started producing and the psychedelic experience in Byron Bay led me, by the beginnings of 2006, to produce Psychedelic Trance. Up until now I have played DJ sets in parties around Byron Bay playing also my own productions.I characterize my productions as psychedelic full on trance, creating a balance between light and darkness, mind enveloping; with an intensity that links flavors between nature, space and industrial melodies and sounds, developing it every day towards the infinite.In my Dj sets I like the serious and interesting psychedelia, new concepts of full-on music balanced with progressiveness.
