About Me

Mark's a singer-songwriter, best described as "contemporary western." (Picture an acoustic guitar and a campfire, with a little harmonica thrown in here and there.) Mark has been playing smaller events, such as coffee shops, western restaurants, acoustic societies, weddings (for a couple close friends), churches, the Commodore in Nashville, and for a couple years there was the "lunchtime entertainment" at a cattle drive fundraiser at the M Lazy C ranch in CO.For the past decade, he has been involved with what's called "therapeutic horseback riding." This is where people with disabilities are given a chance to ride. He has been employed at three different major therapeutic centers as barn/facilities managers, which he still is today. There were also times inbetween where he worked for an equine vet, and also transported horses across country for a short stint.Currently, Mark simply plays solo acoustic sets on occasion, reflecting a love for the western subculture and the concept of art...it's more a form of expression and identity, than an all out pursuit (for now!) He loves his music and is proud of it. If you like horses, the cowboy subculture, and the freedom and goodness of life...we're sure you'll like it, too.Mark is also an actor in Denver-area independent films. Currently, he has secured the lead roles in several different films. In two short films by different filmmakers, he will be portraying emotional/relational storylines. And in a feature-length western film, he is "Charles" the main character, around whom the story revolves. These projects are still in production, being filmed currently, to be released later this year.
