About Me

I might as well write something in this area since it's the thing to do. I guess I'm just using this "MySpace" site to keep in touch with people I rarely see anymore and also find those I haven't seen for a while which is somewhat exciting. It's weird how much life slows down after you find content. I do miss the big get togethers at the homie's house until 3am in the morning drinkin' and smokin' knowing you have to be at work 6 o'clock in the morning. Goin' to the clubs lookin' for females but leavin' with the same crew you're with. Don't forget...- Crack on 4th- Annex - Maple Park after hours- Beat Box (Hot Box)- Rolling in the Drop-top on the way to B-town- Silverdale- Ferry rides- Smokin' on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge- Jefferson Community Center (The center of Seattle Hip-Hop... remember that!)- B O S S Krew at South Shore. - Bayview Dome in Bremerton - Silverdale Community Center... site of the original Uprock functions. - Performances at Pista - BBoy Summit San Diego- Richard's on Richard in BC- BBQ's at Dee Shot's crib- Summer 1997- Discovery Park - Chillin' at Noy's- Ezra's at Skyway- ShowBox Once a month funks- Ballard Firehouse- Club Rios- Paradigm Minds- Behold the Notion- Vancouver BC's Filipino Day- Anthony Harris- The 'E' Days- Roderickoooo HOOOOOOOO- Together for Teens- "Break Wars"- Fights wherever we go- BOSS Krew discounts- Hairball and Isaac- 20 deep in Fritz's room- GoodFellas- Z - Mushrooms- Jo-Me-De-Zee- Strippers at Dukee- A B C - Gerald's Ford Escort- Six Pack- Chantha basement- Illstate Niggaz- My room with the blacklights- High School performances- Bremerhos- The fight at Kitsap County fair with SevenDeuce- BadlZone- The first Mercer Breakwar- Mobbin' deep to Puyallup fair AND SO ON...I'm sure I'll add some more on here, but I hope some of these can put a smile on your face and take you back when it was simpler. Peace

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Lauren Hill, Common, Kanye (that Diamonds track is the illest), Pharell, B-sides of Jay-Z, B-sides of 2pac... Old slow track groups like ... Enquette, Troop, Shai, The Dele, Take 6, Hi-five, Boyz II Men, Guy... Good music is good music. Staind, Pearl Jam, James Blunt, Jamiroquai, Damien Rice... Old joints like The Eagles (Desperado, Hotel California), Johhny Cash, Sinatra, Ray Charles...Jazzy moments with Ella Fitzgerald, Coltrane, Armstrong, Harry Connick Jr... Boogie down music with old skool and new skool breakbeats. And I can't get enough of live drum solos. Like I said, good music is good music.

Movies:

I like anything with substance and a twist. Here's some that come to mind. Momento, Syrianna, Primal Fear, Unfaithful, A Beautiful Mind, Abra los Ohos, Kurosawa. I also like witty comedies, but with a fresh twist. Napoleon Dynamite was not the funniest film, but it was different. I'm a sucker for extremely scary movies. I'm not talking about gory and an overabundance of screaming. I'm talking can't sleep tonight because it bothers me that much scary. Hard to find.

Television:

I usually watch SportsCenter. Seattle sport teams on tv. That Cris Angel guy's kinda interesting. Television really just plays as background noise most of the time.

Books:

Haven't read one for a while. Maybe I should, but I'm so darn impatient. I start on one, get into and before you know it... it's back on the shelf and I'm renting the movie.

Heroes:

My parents. All good parents. You'll understand when you become one.
