This hard-hitting, exciting, "travel back in time" reality show is the brainchild of Kevin Dolan aka Johnny Reb, owner of the 12,000 square-foot Landon House mansion in Urbana, Maryland, just outside Washiington, D.C. Two sets of attractive, modern-day Americans are split into Confederate and Yankee teams and must compete in a series of challenges based upon Civil War-era America.Tasks include: loading and firing a musket three times in less than one minute; drilling and marching in unison; sewing team flags, Civil War etiquette and more. Casting calls were held in Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, Gettysburg, Houston and Austin and an incredible cast assembled from all over the country.We are currently in the process of editing down hundreds of hours of footage into a web-based tv series available in short-format. Over 3 million people visit Civil War battlefields each year and interest in the Civil War continuees to grow by leaps and bounds. To deem the Civil War lifestyle a subculture would not be inaccurate.
