The Abandoned Act was started by Jose Ruiz in May 2007. In June of the same year Ezekiel Escamilla joined on bass. In September 2007 Frank Castillo was added on drums. The band decided to call it quits on December 27 2008 due to personal reasons.
The future is unclear but we shall celebrate on the end of the Earth. Any new music that gets posted will be heavily influenced by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. An actual EP will be recorded before the summer of 2009 with guests musicians from various local and out of town bands that i am very fond of.
