GET CONNECTED - GET INVOLVED
Positivity for Purpose
The hope of Positivity for Purpose is to put some much-needed balance to our hip-hop culture. The artists emerging from this program will not only share their stories through their artistic abilities but also will share many ways out of various life situations by serving as role models for the next generation.
Impacting lives through positive purposed associations.
Hip-Hop The Culture
Hip-hop is a lifestyle that influences everything among teens and young adults from clothing and shoes to electronics and entertainment. Hip-hop is a powerful force crossing ethnic, economic, suburban and urban borders. Once thought of as a fad is now the fasting growing genre in the U.S. Trying to get your young person to be who they are in this day and time without hip-hop is impossible. Rap is the music and what’s going on in the streets is the fuel behind it. Like money, rap isn’t “evilâ€, only what you are doing with it.
If You Can’t Beat ‘Em…Change The Game
Using hip-hop as a tool, Positivity for Purpose will expose young people to examples of wise decision-making and the potential to harnessing gifts and talents to create profits. The artists will also educate others on the negative consequences from making bad choices.
Our brand name and logos will invoke the mindset to succeed in life by using positive mechanisms to get positive results.
The Hope of Positivity for Purpose
· To help young people express solutions to urban problems that do not include committing crime, consumption of drugs/alcohol and premarital sex.
· Re-establish the traditional representation of female artists in a modest, high self-esteemed display exhibiting self-control.
· Utilization of natural gifts and talents to build self awareness and out the box thinking.
Come be a part of the generation that is doing a new thing…

Your Rights Thru Hip Hop
Positivity for Purpose hosts workshop programs teaching teens and young adults their Civil Rights, the Miranda Rights and the U.S. Bill of Rights.
It is the intentions of Positivity for Purpose to educate our youth thus embarking within them a sense of empowerment. Knowledge is power and a sense of responsibility is gained by any individual who has this type of wisdom. We desire our program participants to grow into successful adults with harnessed gifts and the knowledge needed in order to use them in the United States of American to their fullest potential.
Positivity for Purpose is a hip-hop activity involved preventive program geared towards teens and young adults.

P4P took the care packages prepared by the youth at River City Youth Foundation (RCYF) down to the Co-Op Bar for the "Feeding". It was as trill as ATX hip hop could get. We had to go to "The Alley" behind the Salvation Army building and bring clients to the club. It wasn't easy and we didn't tape that part due to the graphic nature of that area.
Jules, CEO of Gorilla Productions, provided manicures for the clients - she never left that table! lol. She stayed busy the whole event. Trauma and Mo of Str8 Ballin Records (ATX) along with Swivol, CEO of Drastic Products (ATX) served food to all the clients - Legacy forgot the cutting knife so we had to literally "Break Bread" with our hands! Phil Smith (Killeen) set the mood off while plates were prepared with her beautiful voice then New Culture Sounds (Honduras) provided calypso music to wind the audience up and keep the atmosphere crunk. We thank Hood Hard TV (ATL) for video taping the whole event and preparing the video. What up, Kavid! There will be a full length "On Da Grind" DVD coming soon with more details of what went on behind the scenes with P4P putting "There IS H.O.P.E. in Hip Hop" together.
