Limetreesword is really called Eric Lindesvärd or sometimes Erca. I am a creative writer and a musician. Basically, I like anything that people do that has a creative edge. Wether it's advertising, text, art, design, illustration, film, food, fashion, music or cuckoo clocks.
I am the original drummer of 80's hard rock band Vanguard, one of many drummers in progressive rock band Pseudo Sun, formed by ex Darxtar bass player Juba, and drummer of pop/rock act Judah, a band which was partly managed by BMG, but unfortunately had to go to sleep. Together with these bands I have released one vinyl mini LP, one full length CD, one full length live vinyl record---and a zillion demos and songs over the years.
It's been lots of gigs, too. Mostly in Sweden but also in Finland and Germany.
A funny thing worth mentioning is a tour I did with Pseudo Sun and Nik Turner from legendary space rockers Hawkwind. (Stage photo left.) We had a great time, lots of laughs and some good gigs together. We played our own material mixed with a couple of Hawkwind songs. The man crashed at my place for a few days. He even did the dishes! Now, that's what I call a real rock star.
I've started and been part of different project bands like The Orchestra of Bugs, ST/SO, The Hype, The Clas (yes, no h) and Flick of the pitch.
Occasionally, I play the keyboard, bass and write songs under the name of Limetreesword. Our new band which is under construction is called Pop Sugar. The band includes two creative friends: Guitarist, singer and art director Nestor, and drummer, harmonica player and photographer/artist Chris, who is doing a good job shaving the world here on Myspace, when he is not handling the drum sticks in his band The Flipbirds.
