I am a singer, songwriter and guitarist. I have been singing and writing songs for as long as i can remember, always trying to get better at what I do...... and what I don’t do.
I started out my "professional" career, in a boys choir in the town that I lived in, singing classical music. It was very good training for the voice, and it gave me a basic, but solid, musical background. I stopped there when my voice broke.
12 month later i was back in business, but now singing in different local bands and singing at school concerts and stuff like that.
I got older and after playing about 200-250 jobs around Denmark, I decided to try and send some of my own songs to small record companies in Denmark. 4 days later I was invited to Copenhagen, to play my songs at Circle Records (owned by the Danish singer and songwriter Anne Linnet). After playing 3 songs live in the office, we started talking about a contract.
I spend 1½ years writing more songs and recording with different very skilled musicians, but sadly business went wrong at Circle Records, and Anne Linnet decided to close all activities. Very disappointed I was let go of my contract.
At that moment I knew thatn I had to have a break from music...... for an unknown period of time.
I’m thinking about slowly getting in action again without any concrete plans. Thinking about buying new strings for my western guitar;-) Anyway.... Have a listen to some of my demo recordings !!
