About Me

..Born and raised in northern Germany, I spent 1 year going to Highschool in the US (Indiana). I moved to Paris to become a make-up artist in '78 and ended up spending 9 years there. I had stopped music 'to earn a living'. Moved to Amsterdamwith a job in '87. After 14 years of 'standing by' my californian blues-rocker husband Lamar Chase (www.mamasbadboys.com), and being once again single, I suddenly saw the light and picked up music myself again. I regularly play at Maloe Melo jam sessions and other Singer/Songwriter venues in Amsterdam. The trio 'Liza & The Honeybees' can be booked for your more relaxed private event or club/cafe. My repertoire includes covers of songs from the sixties and seventies ( CCR, Carole King, Nancy Sinatra), covers of songs by a variety of country and bluegrass artists as well as my own songs.Since January 2008 a new 'rock' project is developping - see also www.myspace.com/chasingthekrakheads. I have something of a 'love affair' with the small bulgarian town of Pomorie on the Black Sea coast and have been taking very inspirational breaks there for three summers in a row with my good friends from ARTERY and THE POMORIANS (see My Friends). Below a couple of videos taken at gigs on the beach at the Tequila Bar in Pomorie Summer 2008!! Yanko (from ARTERY and The Pomorians) honored me by accompanying me on bouzouki and bass-Thank you Yanko, my friend!! Messy? OH,YES, but HEY, we sure had fun!!Nastrave -cheers!!!!:)..
