Teck's journey to Hollywood began when he shared the most intimate details of his life as a cast member on MTV’s REAL WORLD: HAWAII. His presence on that show led to it being one of the most watched, most talked about, and most controversial Real World seasons to date.Teck's enormous popularity and strong fan base led to him launching and hosting MTV’s DIRECT EFFECT, a daily music driven interactive television show. As a television actor, he currently has a recurring role on ABC FAMILY CHANNEL’S LINCOLN HEIGHTS. He has also guest starred on NBC’S FRIENDS, CBS’ NCIS, UPN's HALF & HALF, ONE ON ONE, THE PARKERS and THE HUGHLEY'S, NICKELODEON’S TAINA and MTV’S ANDY DICK SHOW. You can also catch Teck in many popular BUDWEISER and BUD LIGHT commercials, along side Cedric the Entertainer. On the feature film side, Teck co-starred in FLIP THE SCRIPT, an independent film co-starring Miguel Nunez and Robin Givens. He also co-stars in the film KNUCKLE SANDWICH and the romantic comedy GETTING PLAYED (New Line) along with Vivica A. Fox, Bill Bellamy and Carmen Electra. Teck has also appeared in (New Regency/Fox) FIRST DAUGHTER, starring Katie Holmes as the daughter of the President of the United States, and directed by Forrest Whittaker. He could also be seen co-starring in the international fraternity cult classic, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S: VAN WILDER, with Ryan Reynolds and Tara Reid. On the dramatic side, Teck co-starred in the independent thriller, THRUTH BE TOLD, with Regina King and Blair Underwood and LOVE SONG, an MTV television feature starring Monica and Tyrese. As a producer, Teck recently produced and starred in the independent feature, Nobody Smiling, a murder mystery that takes place on the mean streets of Los Angeles.In addition to acting, Teck co-hosted The Real World You Never Saw, which became the single most top selling television themed video and in the top 20 of all video sales. His proven ratings power also led to him hosting MTV’s TOTAL REQUEST LIVE, MTV’s JAMS, MTV's SAY WHAT? KARAOKE, and co-hosting the 14th Annual AMERICAN COMEDY AWARDS behind the scenes action.Teck also prides himself as rapper and writer. He has performed live with BRANDY and rapped on MTV’s THE CUT. Teck studied theater arts, as well as film and television at Morris Brown College in Atlanta. At 6'3" with versatile good looks, Tecumshea (Teck’s full name) means “unpredictable†and he certainly lives up to that.
