I would love to go back in time and meet my husbands deceased grandparents. I think we can learn alot about ourselves by learning where we came from.

Im not a big fan of heros.... I think that we idolize people to many times and we are disappointed when they fail. We put pressure on people to be perfect when thats not what any of us are. Looking up to people lends our self to unrealistic veiws of life. Life is not always going to be the best things we hear about on tv. What makes a man or woman is how humbly they take the bad times and how much character is shown in times of need. Its easy to have a good time when all your physical needs are met. The person I would say i look up to the most is my grandmother. She got married at 14 to a man from many states away she met while he was in ok for bootcamp. they sent him to war she had there first child while he was overseas moved to sc alone to met his family by her self and spent the rest of her life moving around the us with a man she loved who was very restless. he was a hard man then time and grandchildern hadn't soften him yet. But he was good and strong and worked hard. He was always right and had very srtong opinions about the ways things were done. She never had guci or prada or liz clayborn...she had 4 kids and they made it work. She is the most honest, funny, special and loved woman I know. After a gruling 9 months with cancer My Granny gracefully won her battle with cancer. She has gone on to be with God and to rest and worship eternally.
