The 7th Annual Women of Excellence Conference is here again. A single day conference that started at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bald Knob, AR has turned into a dynamic two day conference that has women on fire for Christ. With what started in 2001, the conference has grown tremendously and has been a “Holy Ghost Party†that has women eagerly waiting for Jesus to show up and show out. This powerful conference has been one of the many ministries of Pleasant grove that has brought woman back to God.
The host of this conference is no other than the First Lady Patricia Johnson herself. Patricia Johnson and Rev. Larry Johnson have pastor at Pleasant Grove for more than 19 years. God has given Patricia a divine vision for this ministry. She has been anointed by God to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. First Lady Patricia is a powerful woman of God that not only preaches the Word of God but one who also lives by the Word of God. She has been faithful to God over small things now God is making her faithful over many things, a blessing to this women’s conference is one. Patricia Johnson is a woman of prayer, purpose, praise, and power.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Dream Girlsâ€. “Joel 2:28, And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your DAUGHTERS shall prophesy, your old men shall DREAM DREAMS, your young men shall see visions.†Mrs. Patricia Johnson stated, “I am extremely overwhelmed about this God given opportunity to expand the impact of our ministry assignment by ministering to the women as a whole (spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially) by offering workshop classes that empower individuals through practical, Bible-based principles.†There will be many surprises in store this year: HEALING, DELIVERANCE, RESTORATION, REDEMPTION, and SO MUCH MORE! There will be “state of emergency†classes where each woman has a choice to choose. The class topics vary from Singles, Marriages, Faith, and Prayer. All Religions, Creeds, and Races are encouraged to attend. The conference is free, no registration fee! Lunch is provided. The conference begins at 9:00 a.m. on July 7, 2007 at Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy, AR. (previously held at Harding University in Searcy) The conference will continue at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bald Knob, AR on Sunday, July 8.
