Truly Shambolic Recording Collective

Truly Shambolic is my latest new idea. I started it on May 7, 2007. I can't be sure what it is exactly yet but I'm excited about it.
Let's hope I follow through and it all works out.
Since 1984, I've started and/or have been involved in running a handful of small, independent record labels, including Positive Force, Pazzafist, Eating Blur and Poprockit and I enjoyed my time with all of them, despite the fact that I had no idea what I was doing and ended up losing interest in them. But I think that's because I have never liked the uglier side (promotion, distribution, mail-order, dealing with musicians with unreasonably high expectations, etc. etc.) and honestly, I've never been a part of selling massive amounts of "units" with any band/project I've done so the financial burden has almost always taken it's toll and killed my spirit for wanting to put cool stuff out that I love and believe in.
So, it's mid-2007 and I'm wanting to do a label again. Only this time, I'm bypassing the conventional route and starting a DIGITAL-ONLY label and this is what Truly Shambolic is going to be.
At least to start out.
I want to do it mainly because I don't have the whatever to start up another REAL record label, there isn't much label interest in any of my solo or side projects and really, I just like this idea.
Anyway, I will be posting samples of music here that will be available to purchase online very very soon. Look for new music by Ghetto Moments, Kevin Seconds & The Altruistics, Go National and much much more.
