So I'm changing up my About Me section, yet again. At this time (June 1st, 2007), here's what's going on with me: -I work. A lot. Same schedule every week, so I'm pretty predictable. Monday's I work Verucchi's 4:00-8:30, and then I bartend at Fools 9:00-close. Tuesday's are my one day off a week. Wednesday's I work Verucchi's 4:30-9:30. Thursday's I open the bar 3:00-8:00. Friday's I work Verucchi's 3:00-8:30, and then bartend 9:00-2:00. Saturday's I work Verucchi's 3:00-9:00. Sunday's I bartend 3:00-8:00. That's my week, every week for the most part. Which means that during the day I do absolutely nothing (if you're ever bored during day-time hours, keep that in mind). At night, since I normally work til 8 or 9, I like to go grab late dinners, go to a late movie, or go to the bar, as those are the only things open in the Illinois Valley at night. If nuttin's goin' on, my stand by is always hanging out at Fools. Besides being my place of employment, it's also my favorite bar in the area, and has wonderful bartenders and great regulars. -in my spare day-time hours, I like to listen to music. Good music. I listen to most, but my staple is classic rock. I'll throw on one of my 70's or 80's vinyls and hang out in my apartment, playing on the computer or whatever. Or maybe I'll pop in a movie. Chances are, it'll be a comedy. If not a movie, then one of the television shows that I have on DVD always passes the time. I got a bomb-ass keyboard for Christmas (weighted-keys, so it feels like you're playing a piano), and I like to practice on that when I'm in the mood. If I'm hung-over (which hasn't happened often lately), I'll lay on the couch all day until I haveta get up for work and nurse that puppy. Otherwise, any real excitement comes from friends stopping over to have lunch with me....and do some other recreational stuff. *lol* -I'm saving up to buy a new car. I opened a separate savings account last week and have been depositing money into it that is strictly for a new car. I'm pretty pumped about it. It'll be nice to do things like run to Target when I'm bored, or go get McDonald's, and not haveta be dependent on someone else carting me around. -Things that I enjoy are a good bottle of wine, a book by Hunter S. Thompson, Degrassi (the original) DVD's, going out to dinner, going out of town to hang out (I love shopping and then dining in Rockford -- Shogun's is my favorite restaurant), and doing things outdoors. I love simple things like camping, bonfires, grilling out, swimming, etc. -I SUPPORT MY LOCAL BANDS! Local bands in this area rock hard, and the members of the bands are real upstanding guys. They're loving, supportive, and wonderful people. My parents live in Seatonville with my youngest brother, Danny (though you all know him as Chugs), and my yellow lab retriever, Elle. My brother Matt is in Iraq right now, so say a prayer for just one second if you're reading this. My sister-in-law Katie is back from California, and her my nephew/god-son, Alexander, live with her dad in DePue. Katie is pregnant with my soon-to-be niece and she's due September 24th. -I am the text-messaging queen. No one can text faster than I, and I want to be in a nation-wide competition to prove that. -And lastly -- LAURA COME HOME FROM SPAIN AHORA BECAUSE I MISS YOU!!!
