About Me

Hi my name is Pavel Datsyuk. I was born in Sverdlovsk, Russia. I have been playing hockey my entire life. I was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 1998. It took them a while to choose me because i was too small. I worked on that and now am the go-to guy here on the Red Wings. I have just recently signed a new 7 year contract. I am very happy to be apart of this Detroit Red Wings franchise. Also, i play Center alongside with Henrik Zetterberg and Tomas Holmstrom

My Interests

I love to play hockey, thats why it is my job. I also love to play soccer a lot, especially in the summer. I fish often also in the summer and when we as a team hang out we will either go Golfing or just play Billiards.

I listen to mostly rock. But mostly there isnt enough time to listen to music.

Movies:

There are tons of movies I love to watch, but my favorite is Final Destination

Television:

During my free time, which I barely have, I usually watch ESPN...

Books:

I don't read that much.
