A Dying Breath is an explosive hard rock band that united back in 2004 with a common passion for great music. All members have been active musicians in the Ohio area music scene over the past few decades and have previously appeared in the following bands: Splitfinger, Crossthread, Headchange, X Factor 1, and Force Fed. Today, bands are faced with two major obstacles to success in the music industry. One is creating an original sound that appeals to the masses. The other is maintaining consistent and timeless presence in the music scene. The emergence of thousands of new bands/artists over the last few years, coupled with the growth of the online music market, has spawned a new era of music and musicians. No longer do musicians dream of the signing day and the signing bonuses. These simply do not exist anymore. We are left now with the best of the best. A hard working roster of musicians and bands, who's music really deserves to be recognized. The quality of the bands and the music out there today is a testament to the actual capabilities of the collaboration of the talented musicians who share a love for one thing, music. To make it in this industry you have to love your music, and you have to love your band… Enough to pay your own way. A Dying Breath sums it up pretty well, “We live for this.
