Since the early migration of Filipinos in the United States, rock music has always provided an outlet and an inspiration to express the change they undergo in adopting to a new way of living.
The Americans have always proved to be worthy heroes in this field of music and as such, the Filipino-American Rock Music was born.
The main objective of FARMA (Filipino-American Rock Music Awards) is to further pursue the talents of Fil-Am artists and to promote their artistry in the best possible pipeline available which is live performance.
With the ongoing music revolution in the Fil-Am niche, there is an abundant and untapped musical geniuses awaiting to be witnessed by the millions of supporters each and everyday.
FARMA is here to:
- search the local communities of great Fil-Am rock musicians
- support the Fil-Am artists by providing them the resources they need to hone their craft
- expose Fil-Am artists to as many audience as possible
- promote and empower the Fil-Am rock scenes in the United States
