18 year old singing sensation, Linzie, isn’t just set on ruling the charts. She’s ready to conquer the world! This St. Louis native has been singing since she could talk. It didn’t matter if it were at a church, school, or the local mall. You name it! This tiny powerhouse would perform at the drop of a hat. Her explosive performance and vocals have drawn comparisons to Tina Turner, Shirley Murdock, and, even, Chris Brown. It is hard to believe that such a big voice can come out of such a quiet, unassuming girl. Pulling from greats such as Etta James, Sam Cooke, and the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin, it’s easy to see why Ms. Linzie has garnered so much attention to her vocals. The National Honor Society student is also breaking new ground as a regularly featured artist at St. Louis’ nationally renowned Jazz on the Bistro.
She has unparalleled work ethic and spends countless hours honing her craft in the studio, practicing for live performances, and working with her band. Her hard work is paying off as her name has become synonymous with the phrase stellar performer in her home town of St. Louis, where she has undying support from local radio and thousands of adoring fans. This accomplished songstress, actress, dancer, and designer is theatrically and commercially represented in New York and Los Angeles by Buchwald Talent Group.
Linzie is undeniably the total package. Always on the go, this songbird manages to do it all and keep it in perspective by staying spiritually grounded and keeping God first. She credits her success to this point to her faith and family. Undoubtedly, this winning combination is working for the savvy 18 year old as she isn’t afraid to take chances and is building her empire early. Most recently, Linzie launched her own clothing line. She appropriately titled the line “Latteâ€, because she says her favorite drink exemplifies what she feels she brings to the industry: something strong, sweet and always hot- Ummm… sounds so good; so stay tuned for a taste.
