Not at all easy to describe, with a lyrical swagger as captivating as "Young L's", even with a Fabolous-like monotone, he is clearly one of the up and comers of the Eastern Region of the US. "Young L" (B.K.A. Lamar Watson) was born to Allan Watson (Chester, PA-Bennet Homes Projects) and Wanda Watson (Philly, PA-West Oak Lane) on the day of January 7th. Raised up north for the early years of his existence explain's the Northern accent, however from junior high thru early adulthood, the 757, (southeast) portion of Virginia became his home. Coming up, L was forced to deal with many major life issues, even as a minor and saw himself at times, struggling to live day to day. At a young age of 14, in effort to find some kind of way to express his struggle, he then turned to the microphone. As a now young adult, "L" is still constantly grinding and striving to mold and perfect his craft. Having already been featured on numerous street mixtapes, widely distributed throughout many regions of the US, and with the industry connections steadily growing "L" is now full-fledged pursuing his craft full throttle. With the start of his 4-part mixtape series, Take An "L" (First Quarter) having just recent dropped early fall of 08', and with him nearing completion of his official demo package to accomodate the few industry inquiries that he is already receiving, it is more than apparent that at some point in the not too far future, "Young L" will become a name that many will have no choice but to readily recognize!
