Dad
Seeing you go was the worst day of our lives
The hardest part is actually letting you go
You'll always be in our hearts
And the maker of our good and bad decisions
You're the person who showed us how
to cast far out into the lake
Or taught us how to take corners quickly
You showed us that all you need for fishing a whole day is
  a 12-pack of Mountain Dew
a few bologna and cheese sandwiches
and a roll of toilet paper
You taught us everything we know about cars
Without this knowledge, us kids wouldn't know
how to change a flat tire
let alone how to put oil in our car
But then, we'd be like every other kid,
stranded on the side of the road without you
You taught us to be the good people we are,
  which we learned from you
Help those who need help, always be kind,
and rely on the "Golden Rule"
Most of all, you taught us to live life to the fullest
When you're a kid, be a kid
Don't try becoming an adult too soon
When you're a working adult,
live life to its' fullest, and yet be responsible
You gave life to us by our mothers Grace and Barb
We thank you for being there for us
  when you were physically here
Even more,
we thank you for being there for us spiritually
And you will be here for us until the end of time.
