Apostle Michael Brown, along with his wife Pastor Pamela Brown, is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Truth International Christian Center, a spirit-filled, on-fire congregation located in the south suburbs of Chicago. He is committed to excellence in ministry; this is reflected in the intensity and power of his sacrificial love and service to the Body of Christ.Apostle Brown is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Monmouth College in 1980 with a B.A. in Mathematics/Education, followed by extensive graduate work at Chicago State University. He is also a graduate of Logos Ministerial Training Institute. Operating under a powerful teaching anointing, Apostle Brown has received several secular awards including the prestigious Who's Who Among America's Teachers on three different occasions. His writing ability has captured the eye of major corporations who have contracted him for various writing assignments. Apostle Brown has been called and anointed by God to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has focused all of his natural gifts on his first love - shepherding and nurturing the people of God. In turn, God has opened up the heavens and blessed him with powerful spiritual gifts. In addition to teaching and preaching the Word, Apostle Brown operates under a heavy prophetic mantle, allowing him to minister to thousands through a hands-on prophetic ministry. He continues to be a featured speaker at churches, leadership conferences, and prophetic gatherings.
