About Me

DJING
Ben Quarman began DJing at Charlie Browns - Luton in June 1997 followed by gigs at CASA - MK, Auntie Ruth's - Northampton, Titanic Bar - Ayai Napa, Sensoria - MK to name a few.
Sensoria & Superman. One of BQ's most memorable and funniest slots were playing some of the greatest Trance anthems to a load of MK clubbers as he was dressed up as Superman during 2002 - 2003. You had to be there but thanks to all the regulars for making it such a memeroble occassion. Pictures in slide below.
RADIO
Radio for BQ began on Ruff Justice 102.4Fm where Mr.Dave Watts created the QMaster and slowly introduced the bug and addiction of radio to him. After RJ came Unknown FM (London) one October Friday afternoon - big shout to the Unknown crew. Then Radio became a little bit more serious with training at CRMK 89.8Fm with BQ passing the " Driving test" apparently only just - thanks Arthur you little tinker!
Q The Beat was born January 2004 - Ben Q and Sally B presented 2 hours of the latest dance music with special guest interviews with Carl Craig, High Contrast, Scratch Perverts, Stanton Warriors to name a few ( more details available www.myspace.com/benquarman).
QTB left CRMK in May 2006 and was moved onto Off The Chart Radio to Friday and Saturday nights with regular guest mixes from various local DJ's that can be found on myspace.
Q The Beat's last radio interview with Krafty Kuts is currently available for listen again.
