In 1998 Don O Brien, Chris Mc Bride, Denis Coveney and Nick Kelly formed FLATLINE. After two years of live performance, the time had come for FLATLINE to take its unique blend of classic and thrash metal into the recording studio to cut their first C.D. FOOL..S DAY. The result was over thirty-three minutes of uncompromising music. A promotional tour ensued, and in November of 2002, FLATLINE recorded their second album BLEED TOWARD NEW GROUND. This album captures the power and passion of their live performance and the complexity of their music. Shortly after the album was finalised Shane O.. Brien replaced drummer Nick Kelly and the band played on. A promotional tour followed, taking in support slots with metal legends Anthrax at the Ambassador theatre, Dublin and thrash icons Exodus at the Cruiscin Lan, Cork. Flatline have finished their new E.P. entitled "Benevolence Denied" with resident drummer Aaron Kiely, which will be available soon, followed shortly by thier third full-length studio album.Contact us here or at: http://flatline-thrash.bebo.com , http://www.myspace.com/flatline_thrash ,or:[email protected]
