I'm a black and white British Shorthair Cat.....I'm 18 now and I live in Hampshire with my people, Clare and her 6 year old son, Felix. We used to live in a flat in East London with no garden and moved to this house in 2002 - in fact I was 13 years old before I ever felt grass under my paws and discovered the delights of catching moths, flies and mice and basking in the long grass on a hot afternoon. Now I've discovered the great outdoors, there's no stopping me. Some people think it's cruel keeping cats indoors but I was a rescue cat and trust me, a comfy, warm flat and lots to eat beats a cold, wire RSPCA cage any day of the week, thanks very much. Besides the average lifespan of a metropolitan cat is 3 years because so many of us can't dodge the traffic quick enough...never a problem for an indoor cat like me. Very glad to have a whole house to roam now and a garden to explore.
Hoping to hear from other cats to exchange insect-catching tips and share advice on how to bend humans to the feline will.
