Hello - thanks for listening. I'm a composer and pianist based in Worcester, England.
These tracks are all on my CD 'from Root to Sky'. My wife Claire is a fiddler from Scotland, and the music on the CD is for violin and piano. On 2 tracks we are joined by the singer Colette Todd, former soloist on world tours of 'Riverdance' and 'Lord of the Dance.'

'Fire Dance' has been played on 'Late Junction' on Radio 3 by Verity Sharp, and on French radio station FIP. Tracks from the CD have also been played by Genevieve Tudor on her 'Sunday Folk' programme on BBC radio Shropshire, Hereford & Worcester and Stoke.
I play live with Claire and friends as 'Kings and Folk' - we have also played as 'Ian King and musicians'.
In 2009 we played at Worcester Cathedral, Huntingdon Hall in Worcester, Upton-upon-Severn Folk Festival, and elsewhere. Our full line-up is usually myself (piano), Claire King and Theresa Mountain (fiddles), Helen Izod (flute/whistle/backing vocals) and Colette Todd (vocals.)
