Massimo wants to be a director since he was a kid. He graduated in Industrial Design for communication at Politecnico di Milano. Before his thesis, on interactive advertising, he had an internship in McCann Erickson's production department. Here he had is first experience of a commercial set and decided he would try to realize his dream. Few months later he shot a commercial as a director, for the thesis of a friend of his. Then he co-directed a quick and rought commercial based on the idea of Publicis' Art Director and Copywriter, Fabio Seniga and Giulia Pagani. He attended a course on directing and Editing, "Digital Video Maker", organized by Pegaso Formazione with the European Social Found. During this experience he met Renzo Barzizza, one of his teachers, a very important and experienced producer in the italian advertising world. During this course he had the opportunity to shoot a short, based on the idea of Massimo Ciscato, a talented and promising cinematographer. During an internship in XLR8, a post production company, he learned the basis of Smoke on his short's post. Then he has been assistant producer on several commercials for Mercurio Cinematografica and independent productions. He has been leading with Mr Barzizza a project of a promotional tv channel. At the moment he is working on some independent productions with Otherminds Films. On November '06 he co-directed and produced a video for Robbie Williams Competition and won the Jury Prize. Now Massimo is working as an editor on corporate videos and low budget commercials most of all in collaboration with Outfit - Milan. He wrote some screenplays and he is planning to shot a short soon.
